1. By Air: The nearest airport to Kedarnath is Jolly Grant Airport in Dehradun, which is approximately 239 km away. From the airport, you can hire a taxi or take a bus to reach Kedarnath.

2. By Rail: The nearest railway station to Kedarnath is Rishikesh, which is approximately 216 km away. From Rishikesh, you can take a taxi or a bus to reach Gaurikund, which is the base camp for the Kedarnath trek.

3. By Road: Kedarnath can be reached by road from different cities in Uttarakhand. You can take a bus or hire a taxi from cities like Rishikesh, Haridwar, Dehradun, or Kotdwar. The road journey can be challenging due to the narrow and steep roads.

4. Trek: The most popular way to reach Kedarnath is by trekking. The trek starts from Gaurikund, which is the base camp for the Kedarnath trek. The trek is approximately 16 km long and takes around 6-7 hours to complete. It is a challenging trek, and it is advisable to be physically fit before attempting it.

5. Helicopter: You can also reach Kedarnath by helicopter from Phata or Guptkashi. The helicopter service operates during the Char Dham Yatra season, which is from April to November.
